Digital Health Lead Dr Vimal Pasupathy represented the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) at the Digital Health Festival in Melbourne in May 2026. Joining more than 8,000 attendees and 400 speakers from across healthcare, government, technology and research, Dr Pasupathy returned to the Murrumbidgee with many insights and emerging ideas.
The event explored some of the biggest opportunities and challenges shaping the future of healthcare, including artificial intelligence, virtual care and telehealth, electronic medical records, cybersecurity, data interoperability and innovation in primary and aged care.
Dr Pasupathy shared his learnings from the festival with the MPHN relevant teams, bringing national and international perspectives back to the region and helping inform MPHN’s approach to digital health.
