Health Connect Provider Directory

A new national directory will make it easier for healthcare providers to find and connect with allied health professionals.

From November 2026, the Health Connect Australia Provider Directory, managed by the Australian Digital Health Agency, will include allied health professionals who hold a Healthcare Provider Identifier – Individual (HPI-I). The directory supports referrals, care coordination and secure information sharing. It is not publicly accessible and can only be accessed by authorised healthcare providers and organisations.

What you need to do

  • Check your details are up to date through Provider Connect Australia, AHPRA, your professional body or the Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service.

  • If you registered for your HPI-I through your professional body, link it in PRODA using HPOS to ensure you appear in the directory.

  • If you have privacy concerns, you can request that your details are not displayed by lodging a non-disclosure request.

Need help obtaining your HPI-I? Email alliedhealth@mphn.org.au for information and resources to point you in the right direction.
