You Can Stay: free accommodation for youth cancer patients

Sony Foundation, the charity arm of the Sony Group of Companies, support 15-29 year old regional and rural youth cancer patients by offering national free and uncapped accommodation.

Together with program partner Quest Apartment Hotels, studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom self-contained apartments are available depending on the patient and family needs when travelling to metropolitan city treating hospitals.  

Sony Foundation launched the national youth cancer initiative, ‘You Can’ in 2010 to close the gap that currently exists for 15 - 29 year olds (pre-2024 the program supported 15 – 25 years) with cancer to establish a network of age-appropriate specialised youth cancer centres and services around Australia.
