Healthdirect Video Call programs extended to 30 June 2026

Healthdirect Australia is pleased to announce the extension of both the healthdirect Video Call COVID-19 GP Program and the PHN Exemplar Program through to 30 June 2026, as supported by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

GP Program

The healthdirect Video Call COVID-19 GP Program has been extended to 30 June 2026. We encourage GPs to continue using this secure, purpose-built video consulting platform for primary care settings, especially as telehealth MBS items evolve.

  • CPD training available: healthdirect Video Call training is RACGP and ACRRM CPD-accredited. Register here for essential training.

  • Bulk billing consent: A Bulk Billing Consent application is available in healthdirect Video Call to use online.

Exemplar Program

The healthdirect Video Call Exemplar Program also continues to 30 June 2026. This program provides access for Allied Health professionals and Aged Care services, including Residential Aged Care Facilities.
