Free training now available for residential aged care workers

A new education package — BERTIE: Better lives for residents through innovative education — has launched to support residential aged care workers across Australia.

Developed in response to the Aged Care Royal Commission, BERTIE helps clinical and non-clinical staff identify and manage early signs of deteriorating health in residents.

The self-paced modules are short, engaging and easy to follow, with videos, summary sheets and quick quizzes. Free and accessible nationwide via the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s ALIS platform.
