EOIs now open for practices seeking RACGP GP training accreditation

The RACGP is looking to expand GP training capacity for 2026 and beyond. Have you considered becoming an accredited RACGP training site? Great news – expressions of interest (EOIs) are now open.

Benefits of accreditation

By becoming an accredited RACGP training site, your practice will:

  • contribute to your community’s GP workforce needs

  • strengthen its reputation as a training site

  • play a key role in shaping future GP registrars in your area.

Accredited training sites also have access to RACGP support and resources, along with financial incentives through supervisor and teaching payments to assist with registrar training.

Any MM2–7 practice is welcome to submit an EOI. Practices that fall outside the current priority areas, or do not meet the immediate needs, will be kept on file and contacted during future EOI rounds.

Don’t miss out

There are several steps involved in becoming accredited, including training for supervisors. We encourage you to submit your EOI promptly to ensure your practice is ready to receive registrars for the start of the 2026.1 semester.

Make the most of this opportunity to join our network of accredited practices and support the next generation of GPs.
