General practices across the Murrumbidgee region can access a range of current and upcoming MPHN opportunities designed to support patient care, strengthen workforce capability and assist with service planning over the next 6–24 months.

Opportunities are offered on a competitive basis and vary in scope, timeframe and eligibility. A summary is provided below to help practice teams quickly decide whether they may wish to pursue an opportunity further.

Palliative care in general practice

    • Establishing multidisciplinary teams

    • Using the Palliative Care Outcome Collaborative (PCOC) tool

    • Supporting best‑practice palliative care in general practice

  • Eligibility:

    • All general practices in the MPHN region

Enhancing Paediatrics in Primary Care (EPiPC) 2026

  • Focus:

    • Identifying developmental and behavioural concerns in children aged 0–7 years

    • Referral pathways to the WARATAH for Kids program

  • Eligibility:

    • Small general practices or an Aboriginal Medical Service

    • Targeted local government areas

    • Competitive, limited funding

    • April 2026 to June 2027
