firsthealth Limited, trading as Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network, is seeking candidates for two elected Director positions on the firsthealth Limited Board.
Our Board oversees the governance and strategic direction of MPHN. They are engaged in supporting our organisation to deliver the best possible primary care for local communities and to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for current and future health needs.
The elected positions will become vacant at the conclusion of the Company’s Annual General Meeting on 31 October 2025. One of the two incumbents is eligible for re-election and may choose to seek re-election through this process.
We are seeking nominations from individuals who have strong knowledge of MPHN’s service region, and links with our local communities.
As a skills‐based Board, we encourage skilled candidates with a good understanding of governance practices. This year, we are seeking to recruit a Board director with experience in:
General practice, either as a general practitioner and/or in a general practice role
Philanthropy
Executive management, or
Finance
The Board welcomes and encourages applications from those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Previous experience as a Board director or holding a company directors qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors or equivalent are highly desirable.
