We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join our dedicated team at Dr. Duncan's Rooms. As a GP at our practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering professional assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to a diverse patient population, including refugees. Multicultural Council Refugee Clinic A weekly refugee health assessment clinic has been operational in Wagga for almost 10 years, initially located at the then Division of General Practice/Medicare Local and since January 2017 as the Refugee Health Assessment Centre (RHAC) from the Multicultural Council office in Wagga Wagga. The RHAC aims to provide quality, coordinated, primary health care to meet the needs of Refugees prior to transitioning to local GPs. The centre currently has two GPs working the roster (with practice nurse support) and operates on a Monday. Due to the increase in number of refugees settling in Wagga, the clinic is increasing to two days per week and is seeking to recruit one or more GPs to work on the roster. Training will be provided. The centre provides:
Holistic health assessments
Immunisation catch ups
Referrals to specialist and allied health services
Dental / Pathology on site
Counselling and supports
