Your Role

As a skin cancer GP, you will:

  • Perform thorough skin checks and dermoscopy.

  • Diagnose and treat skin cancer cases, including minor procedures.

  • Educate patients on skin cancer prevention and sun safety.

  • Maintain accurate records and provide high-quality patient care.

  • Collaborate with a supportive team of GPs and healthcare professionals.

About You

We are looking for a doctor who is:

  • Qualified: Registered with AHPRA and holds FRACGP

  • Experienced: Demonstrated expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and management or willingness to commence further training alongside our mentorship and supervision

  • Skilled: Proficient in dermoscopy and minor skin procedures.

  • Compassionate: Committed to patient-centred care.

  • Team-oriented: A collaborative professional who values teamwork.

GP – Riverina Medical & Dental Aboriginal Corporation

RivMed is an Aboriginal Medical Service supporting the community in the Riverina.

RivMed is located in Wagga Wagga with experienced nursing staff and Aboriginal Health Workers. We have allied health professionals working within the practice consisting of podiatrist, dietitian, exercise physiologist and diabetes educator along with an Integrated Team Care (ITC) team to support patients needing supplementary services.

We are AGPAL accredited and bulk bill all clients.

GP – Multicultural Council Refugee Clinic

A weekly refugee health assessment clinic has been operational in Wagga for almost 10 years, initially located at the then Division of General Practice/Medicare Local and since January 2017 as the Refugee Health Assessment Centre (RHAC) from the Multicultural Council office in Wagga Wagga.

The RHAC aims to provide quality, coordinated, primary health care to meet the needs of refugees prior to transitioning to local GPs. The centre currently has two GPs working the roster (with practice nurse support) and operates on a Monday. Due to the increase in number of refugees settling in Wagga, the clinic is increasing to two days per week and is seeking to recruit one or more GPs to work on the roster. Training will be provided. The centre provides:

  • Holistic health assessments

  • Immunisation catch ups

  • Referrals to specialist and allied health services

  • Dental / pathology on site

  • Counselling and supports
