Culcairn Mediclinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate General Practitioner to join our team and serve the rural community of Culcairn, NSW on a full-time basis.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalised medical care to our patients.
What you'll be doing:
Conducting comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
Developing and implementing effective treatment plans, including prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, and making referrals to specialists as needed
Providing preventative care and promoting overall wellness through patient education and counselling
Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Collaborating with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements
What we're looking for:
A medical degree and valid license to practice as a General Practitioner in Australia
Strong clinical skills, including expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
A caring, empathetic, and patient-centric approach to medicine

About Moama Health Group
Moama Health Group Pty Ltd is a well established family practice offering comprehensive, coordinated, and continued medical care to individuals and families of Moama, Echuca, and the surrounding communities. Our practice is accredited with AGPAL and we are currently a mixed billing practice. We are currently seeking an experienced AHPRA Registered General Practitioner to work in our health clinics in Moama NSW.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
As the General Practitioner, your role will include but not limited to the following:
Examining patients for characteristics and nature of illnesses and injuries
Taking patient's histories and assessing their presenting complaints
Documenting patients medical information
Requesting medical procedures such as x-rays and laboratory tests for the purpose of patients' diagnostics
Interpreting medical findings to patients
Monitoring patients' conditions and updating medical records
Referring and suggesting patients to Medical Practitioners when necessary
Providing advise on lifestyle and habitual changes to support disease prevention and mitigation
Pros:
Will support PEP - DPA exemption - replacement for a GP on leave
Relocation assistance grant applicable - up to $10,000.00
Flexible working hours
Friendly environment
Upon completion of fellowship, annual salary will be reviewed
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $76,000.00 to $85,000.00
