Tom’s LHAC chat

Convos on the Couch at Howlong.

I hope everyone enjoyed the recent LHAC forum in Griffith and you gained some knowledge and inspiration like I did. Thank you to everyone who could make it and a massive thank you and congratulations to the Griffith LHAC for organising a great event with support from Setchen and myself. I look forward to supporting the Wagga Wagga LHAC for the next forum in Wagga Wagga on September 11 and 12.

MPHNs conversations on the Couch has kicked off for 2025 with the team visiting Howlong, Corowa and Barham in the first week. A full list of towns and dates we are visiting is listed under the ‘Health awareness dates’ section of the LHAC Update. We had some great conversations in each of the towns that really highlighted what is working well within health and where there is improvement needed.

Convos on the Couch at Corowa.

We also held the second Sector Chair meeting on the 27 of May with the theme of Priority Populations and Equity of Access. Thank you to everyone who attended this meeting and provided your thoughts on this topic, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the chat,

Tom
