Tom’s April LHAC chat

Hi LHACs, 

March was a busy month, with the Community Advisory Committee meeting for the first time in 2026. Yarns and Convos on the Couch have also kicked off for the year, with events held in Cootamundra, Coolamon and at the Riverina Field Days in Whitton. The next stops for Yarns are Darlington Point and Griffith, with Convos on the Couch heading to Henty. More details are available in the events section of this update.

I am very excited about the upcoming LHAC Forum, hosted by Young LHAC on 21–22 May. We would love to see as many LHAC members attend as possible, with this year’s theme focusing on Connecting communities. The forum will include Asset Based Community Development workshops facilitated by The Jeder Institute, as well as guest speakers who will share how they took an idea from concept to reality.
