Tom’s May LHAC chat

Yarns on the Couch in Griffith.

Hi LHACs,

I hope you enjoyed a restful Easter break and had time to pause and reflect over the Anzac Day public holiday.

Over recent weeks, I’ve been out and about engaging with young people at a range of Youth Week events, as well as meeting with the Men’s Shed at Henty and chatting with community members at the Henty Bakery. I also enjoyed attending the Lake Cargelligo Community Expo, Yarns on the Couch in Griffith, and Convos on the Couch sessions in Mulwala and Moama. These events were a great opportunity to connect, listen and hear what’s important to local communities.

To round out May, our next LHAC Sector Meeting is scheduled for 26 May, with a focus on the Multicultural Health Needs Assessment. I encourage LHAC members to attend and be part of this important conversation.

Thanks for the chat, and I look forward to continuing to connect with you all.

Tom
