Tom’s July LHAC chat

Hi LHACs,

I hope you have been keeping warm as winter finally sets in.

Since my last chat, MPHN held our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting. You will find the Chair’s summary further on in this update. The CAC is a governance committee that meets quarterly, two weeks after the LHAC Chair Sector meeting. The CAC is made up of community representatives and four LHAC sector representatives. Previously, the Chair’s report has been sent to LHAC Chairs separately, but to help reduce email load I will include it here from now on.

On another note, I have introduced a new email address for LHACs to contact MPHN. The new email has a shared inbox, meaning more people have access to it when I am on leave or unavailable. When you would normally have emailed me, please now email: lhac@mphn.org.au

The new inbox will make it easier for us to collect and store LHAC minutes, as well as LHAC event and meeting invites. This email does not replace your MPHN LHAC representative, who you can still contact and should be included in your usual email list.
