Tom’s October LHAC chat
Hi LHACs,
September was a huge month, with lots happening right across the board. The month started with MPHN's Community Advisory Committee. Thanks to Lesley for joining this committee alongside our other sector representatives, Anne and Bill.
A shout out and thank you to George John and John Harper, who have been members of our Community Advisory Committee for several years and have both made significant contributions. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us over the years.
The following week was the LHAC Forum (images below). It was great to see so many of you there, and I hope you found it a valuable event.
The week after the Forum, I was at the Henty Field Days, which is always a massive event and provides lots of valuable conversations and opportunities to share resources with people from across our region and beyond.
MPHN ran an exciting giveaway to help promote our Health Needs Assessment survey, generating more than 180 submission across the three days, which was a great result. The prize, a toy ride-on John Deere tractor, was won by a young family from Howlong.
I will return from annual leave on 12 October and hit the ground running, with plenty of Convos on the Couch events planned right across our region. Thank you to the LHACs for your continued support of our Convos events. It really does make a big difference.
Thanks for the chat,
Tom.
