This free and confidential phone service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone living in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. You’ll speak with experienced mental health practitioners who truly listen and understand.
“Do not be afraid, they understand, they listen and they have a wealth of support… Much better than making crisis decisions on your own.”
Accessline offers information, advice, and referrals for:
People experiencing distress, mental health challenges, or drug and alcohol use
Carers and families supporting a loved one
Concerned friends or community members
Health professionals, GPs, and emergency workers
If you’re in crisis, Accessline can guide you to urgent help. If necessary, they may advise you to visit your nearest Emergency Department or call emergency services on your behalf. If you already feel unsafe or know you need immediate help, you can go directly to the ED or call 000 — you don’t need to call Accessline first.
“The staff are knowledgeable about many conditions and are very willing to chat about your situation.”
You’re not alone. Whether you need a quick chat or help navigating support services, call Accessline on 1800 800 944.
