Medical Termination of Pregnancy – clinical service delivery options in the Murrumbidgee

This webinar will provide up-to-date, evidence-based information for GPs and medical staff assisting patients with unplanned pregnancy featuring speaker Dr Catriona Melville from MSI Australia.

Dr Melville will cover the legal framework in relation to termination of pregnancy, considerations in practice, requirements for safe prescribing of MS-2 step, including barriers, potential risks and side effects. Please note, this session will not make a practitioner qualified to deliver MTOP medication. MSI Australia provides a specific course MS-2 step.

This event will be hosted by Dr Jane Goddard, who will also outline the relevant local Health Pathways. The two guest speaker: Tom Adamson and Veronica Ward will brief us on medical dispensing and local MTOP clinics, respectively.
