Navigating Aged Care and finding the right health and community supports can be challenging. The 2026 Wise + Well Seniors Expo made that process a little easier by bringing information, services and people together under one roof.
Held at Wagga RSL in April 2026 as part of NSW Seniors Festival, the free event connected older people, families and carers directly with local health, wellbeing, aged care and community services.
Designed to target a broad range of audiences and topics, expo visitors could speak face-to-face with providers and hear short presentations covering everything from nutrition, falls prevention and advance care planning to dementia, scams, fire safety, mental wellbeing, aged care rights and social connection.
The event also addressed two challenges identified by MPHN: the complexity of navigating aged care and the impact of isolation and loneliness among older people. Beyond providing information, Wise + Well created an opportunity for people to connect with each other and with services before they necessarily needed them.
For providers, the expo also strengthened awareness of other local services, supporting better connections and referral pathways across the sector.
