Inquiry into the Thriving Kids initiative

On 2 September 2025, the Minister for Health and Ageing, the Hon Mark Butler MP, referred an inquiry into the Thriving Kids initiative to the House Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Disability.

The Committee invites written submissions addressing the terms of reference by Friday 3 October 2025. You can find more information about making a submission to a parliamentary committee here.

To support broader community engagement, a brief survey is now available to gather feedback from families and carers on their experiences accessing support services for children with additional needs. The survey will remain open until Friday 10 October 2025.
