General Practice Update

The EOI process for Better. Together. General Practice EOI has now concluded, and general practice host sites for Better. Together. service delivery have been identified in 7 LGAs. MPHN thanks practices that engaged in the EOI process.

In line with the EOI Guidance Document, we are now moving to direct offers to general practices in the remaining LGAs. MPHN has undertaken a range of analysis to identify practices to prioritise for direct offers.

MPHN acknowledges that many practices will not have spare room in their practices to host services such as Better. Together. MPHN is committed to developing spoke locations in each LGA to reduce barriers to access the service for your patients. MPHN will work with local general practice to identify alternative venues for Better. Together. service delivery if required.

In preparation for referring to the service, please take a moment to become familiar with Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST). CPD accredited IAR-DST training is available, and can be accessed via the MPHN website: https://mphn.org.au/iar

Lead Provider Update

The RFP for the Lead Better. Together. provider has concluded and we are in final contract negotiations with a preferred provider.
