Enhancing referral efficiency: Consultmed now integrated with MedicalDirector
General practitioners in the Murrumbidgee region can now benefit from a more efficient and streamlined process for referring patients to mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services. This is possible through Murrumbidgee Central Access and Navigation Service introducing last year the new digital referral portal, which is delivered by Consultmed.
This user-friendly platform simplifies the traditionally time-consuming referral process with an intuitive, easy-to-complete online form, ensuring faster and more secure submissions.
We are pleased to announce that Consultmed is now integrated with MedicalDirector. The Consultmed widget is embedded directly into the MedicalDirector Clinical sidebar. GPs can now launch Consultmed without leaving the clinical screen, making it faster and easier to send referrals.
With real-time referral tracking, secure messaging, and faster processing, this integration not only improves efficiency but also enhances patient care!
