After hours flu season grants now open

MPHN recognises that general practices across the region face increasing pressure to provide patient consultations during the flu season.

To support general practices in managing this increased demand, MPHN is offering support for practices to extend their after hours services in the lead-up to the winter flu season during May and June 2026. The aim of this activity is to help keep patients well in the community and reduce non-urgent presentations to hospital emergency departments during the after hours period.

For more information about the activity and the Expression of Interest (EOI) process, please refer to the After hours Flu Season Grants – EOI Guidance Document.

Applications for this opportunity must be submitted via the online webform. A link to the webform is available in Section 7: Application process on page 5 of the EOI Guidance Document.

The EOI webform closes at 5.00pm on Monday 7 April 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

For more information, please contact Donna Jeffery, Procurement Lead, via tenders@mphn.org.au or phone 02 6923 3125.
