Cervical screening for mob campaign now live
A new Cancer Institute NSW campaign is running across NSW until 28 June, supporting First Nations women and people with a cervix aged 25–74 to take part in cervical screening.
Why this matters
Screening every 5 years is the best way to prevent cervical cancer
First Nations women and people with a cervix have lower participation and face additional barriers
The campaign was developed with First Nations community members and focuses on cultural safety and trusted voices
What the campaign promotes
Awareness of cervical screening options, including self-collection
Encouragement to talk with a local health service about the option that feels right
