Medicare Mental Health Check In consumer campaign launching soon

From August, patients may be more aware of Medicare Mental Health Check In as a national consumer campaign rolls out across Australia.

General practices should be prepared for increased patient enquiries about the service, which provides free digital support for people aged 16 years and over experiencing mild mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety and low mood.

The service complements existing mental health care and can be accessed without a referral.
