Preparing for flu clinics

Flu vaccines will soon be available. When planning your flu clinics, it's important to remember that it's safe to administer flu vaccines concurrently with most other vaccines, including COVID-19 vaccines.

For patients aged 65 and over, a free flu shot is available, and it's also recommended they receive a free COVID-19 vaccine.

Let's prioritise the health of our patients by safeguarding them against severe illness. By offering both the influenza (flu) and COVID-19 vaccines on the same day, we can ensure they receive their recommended vaccinations.
