Accreditation practice pointer: we encourage involvement from all practice team members

C3.4 B Our practice encourages involvement and input from all members of the practice team.

RACGP Standards for general practice

General practices will be most productive when there is a harmonious work environment for all staff members. This can be achieved by encouraging sound communication channels between the practice management and the practice team. Each member of the practice team must also know how to escalate any issues.

For example, the practice could run regular internal face-to-face meetings, which are attended by all members of the practice team. Everyone must be encouraged to provide input about improving procedures at these meetings. There should be minutes taken of these meetings.
