RACGP: The Red Book
RACGP has issued the 10th Edition of The Red Book. RACGP - Guidelines for preventive activities in general practice
Published since 1989, The Red Book is the RACGP’s general practice handbook for preventative care. General practice teams can refer to The Red Book for comprehensive guidance and recommendations on:
maintaining and/or improving patients’ short- and long-term health
addressing health disparities faced by disadvantaged and vulnerable population groups
prevention of chronic disease
early detection of specific disease through evidence-based screening
empowering patients through health education and promotion.
Please note that The Red Book does not include disease management.
