MPHN's 2020-2021 Annual Report now available

MPHN has today released its 2020 – 2021 Annual Report showcasing its achievements over the past financial year, and despite the challenges navigating another year of uncertain times, communities continued to show resilience.

Acting CEO, Julie Redway said this year’s annual report has taken a fresh approach on how the organisation reports on its activities.

“This year’s annual report features stories about various programs, project and initiatives in magazine style articles. It’s a unique way to highlight our key achievements and makes for a very interesting read,” Ms Redway said.

“Of the many achievements outlined within this annual report, I am particularly proud of MPHN’s journey towards developing our first Reconciliation Action Plan, and I’m looking forward to seeing this action plan come to life next year.

“I’m also pleased to see how collaboration between regional organisations and stakeholders across sectors has contributed to creating many opportunities for developing truly integrated, regional approaches to health planning, commissioning of services, and accountability for outcomes is exciting, making a real difference to the lives of people living in our communities.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners, primary healthcare providers, and staff for all you do to improve health and wellbeing in our communities. Together we are working towards our vision of Well People, Resilient Communities.

“As we continue to respond to the primary health care needs of the region, and listen to and tell the stories of our region, I look forward to seeing what the next 12 months will bring,” she said.
