Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network welcomes PHN review recommendations

Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) has welcomed the findings of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing’s Review of the PHN Business Model and Mental Health Flexible Funding Stream, which highlight the critical role of Primary Health Networks in delivering locally responsive, high-quality care.

MPHN Interim CEO Narelle Mills said the review provides a clear pathway to strengthen governance, streamline funding, and enhance performance measurement across the PHN network.

“These recommendations will help us focus on what matters most, which is supporting healthier communities across the Murrumbidgee region,” Ms Mills said.

“By simplifying processes and strengthening collaboration, we can work more effectively with providers and partners to deliver integrated, equitable care.”
