UNSW joins as platinum sponsor for 2026 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Awards

Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) has welcomed the University of New South Wales (UNSW) as the platinum sponsor of the 2026 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Awards. 

The awards celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership in primary healthcare, recognising the people and organisations improving health outcomes across the Murrumbidgee region. 

UNSW Rural Manager Tony Jordan said the university was proud to help shine a light on the achievements of regional healthcare professionals. 

“After sponsoring the awards last year, we were inspired by the dedication and innovation shown by healthcare providers across the Murrumbidgee,” Mr Jordan said. 

“We’re delighted to extend our support as platinum sponsor for the first time and help celebrate the people and organisations who do so much for the health and wellbeing of their local communities.” 

UNSW has a longstanding presence in the Murrumbidgee region through its Rural Clinical Campuses program, supporting education and training opportunities for future health professionals. 

MPHN CEO Narelle Mills welcomed the partnership.

“Their support will help us recognise and celebrate the outstanding work being delivered across primary healthcare in our region.”
