Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) and Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) have today launched the 2025–2030 Murrumbidgee Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drugs Regional Plan, setting a clear roadmap for improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes over the next five years.

A successful pilot program led by Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network has shown how nurse-led clinics can improve access to chronic disease care in regional communities, with promising results for patients and practices alike.

This year marks 10 years since the establishment of Primary Health Networks (PHNs), a national network of 31 organisations created to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Australia’s healthcare system, particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes.
