Lung Cancer and Smoking Cessation
National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP)
The National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) offers low-dose CT scans to eligible Australians at high risk of lung cancer. This proactive screening aims to detect lung cancer early—before symptoms arise—and reduce mortality through earlier treatment.
Eligible individuals will be invited to participate in the program via a targeted screening model, based on age and smoking history.
