IN Control clinical audit: INsulin INitiation and Intensification to avoid clinical Inertia

Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is firmly entrenched in the Australian community, diagnosed in 1.2 million people, with an estimated further 500,000 undiagnosed. Advances in research over the past decade have seen a dramatic change in our understanding of the disease, and in our management of glycaemic control.

By enrolling in this activity you will review glycaemic management in patients who may benefit from insulin initiation or intensification, and learn how to overcome therapeutic inertia barriers hindering insulin initiation or intensification.
