Session 1- Post thrombotic syndrome explained looks at the DVTs most likely to cause PTS and the role of the AngioJet Peripheral Thrombectomy System in preventing PTS. A/Prof Laurencia Villalba, vascular surgeon, will examine the treatment of PTS, and the importance of follow-up in primary care.

Session 2 –Exploring treatment challenges in TIA- join a case-based session as neurologist Professor Vincent Thijs guides you through challenging patient cases and explores how GPs should manage the patient presenting with a TIA. He discusses when immediate referral to hospital is warranted, and ongoing management to reduce stroke risk.
