The University of Sydney: Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC), online course

Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC)

The OTAC is designed to assist in the development of knowledge, skills and practices to support the safe prescribing of opioid pharmacotherapies. The full-day course overviews opioid treatments (methadone and buprenorphine) for patients with opioid dependence, including how to start and manage a patient on treatment, and where to seek help for complex cases. Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress towards accreditation to prescribe pharmacotherapies for the treatment of opioid dependence in NSW. To be eligible to attend this session you MUST also complete the fundamental training pre-course module prior to attending the webinar on the day. Visit www.otac.org.au and login or register for an account to start the pre-course module.
