Multimorbidity Webinar Series: webinar 3 - Frailty and Multimorbidity

Frailty and Multimorbidity
Multimorbidity with frailty is common, and both have been associated with the risk of disability, hospitalisation and mortality and increased health-related costs in the elderly population. Age, sex and socioeconomic position are reported risk factors, but management should have a patient-centred, multidisciplinary approach. Learn how to prioritise care decisions and apply strategies that enhance patient–clinician communication. Presented by Dr Jagdeesh Singh Dhaliwal (Clinical Director, Aged Care GP, Melbourne) and facilitated by Emeritus Professor Mieke van Driel (General Practice Clinical Unit, The University of Queensland).
