You are invited to the online launch of the first national Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Clinical Care Standard, hosted by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.
COPD is a progressive and debilitating respiratory condition that affects one in 13 Australians over the age of 40 years. It has a significant impact on quality of life and is a leading cause of potentially preventable hospitalisations.
The Standard aims to reduce hospital admissions and improve quality of life for people living with COPD by ensuring accurate diagnosis and best-practice management in both community and hospital settings.
Join our webcast to hear experts discuss the importance of accurate diagnosis with spirometry, pulmonary rehabilitation and a step-wise approach to pharmacotherapy.
