About the presenter: Dr Paulina Alhucema is a dual trained Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist and General Paediatrician based in Melbourne. Paulina works for The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Epworth Healthcare, plus assists with the Victorian Virtual Specialists Clinics (VVSC) in the field of allergy. After completing her General Paediatrician training, Paulina worked in Melbourne and rural locations for 7 years. She then returned to RCH for more training and to pursue her passion to become an Allergist & Immunologist. Paulina has led the development of the RCH Clinical Practice Guidelines for IgE and Non-IgE food allergies, has supported the updates in the anaphylaxis guideline, plus many other protocols and guidelines.
