Introduction to Medical Termination of Pregnancy in General Practice

Please join us for the next webinar in our series to learn all you need to know about setting up a MTOP service in your practice. We're going to cover the legal framework and the practicalities of setting up a medical abortion service in primary care, with up-to-date information on the clinical and legislative considerations for safe and effective provision of MTOP. You're welcome to email your questions to searchproject@fpnsw.org.au prior to the webinar, and there will also be time allocated to discuss your cases and further questions.

Family Planning Australia is a lead provider of medical abortion services in NSW. Through the SEARCH project, FPA aims to support the provision of accessible medical abortion in low-resource settings and away from the metropolitan areas. We deliver compassionate counselling and evidence-based information as well as facilitating access to post-abortion care in the community, if required.

Our SEARCH project participants are valued partners in this work, whether you're a medical abortion service provider or would like to learn the practical details about offering this service in your area.
