Join Carers NSW for this fast-paced 45-minute session where we share some insights about carers in general practice - who they are, their health needs and where you can refer them for support.

Target Audience: General practice teams - general practitioners, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, practice managers, and administrative/reception teams.

  • Understand why engaging with carers is important for the care of both carer and care recipient

  • Identify a diverse range of carers within general practice settings

  • Recognise the impact of caring on a person’s health and wellbeing
