Women’s Wellbeing and Connection Groups – Wagga Women's Health Centre

Wagga Women’s Health Centre (WWHC) will deliver a series of free therapeutic and social group programs across three school terms, from October 2025 to June 2026, supporting women’s mental wellbeing and social connection in Wagga and surrounding communities.

The program will offer a diverse range of group-based activities designed to meet women where they are, including parenting support, mindfulness, creative arts, ukulele, yoga and nutrition education. Each program will run for 10 weeks per term, providing consistency, continuity and opportunities for meaningful relationships to form.

Groups will be facilitated by experienced WWHC staff and relevant subject matter experts. Group sizes will be capped to ensure participant safety, encourage engagement and create supportive, inclusive environments.

To support long-term outcomes, participants will be offered ongoing support options at the conclusion of each program, including access to WWHC services and referrals to external supports where appropriate. Feedback will be gathered through surveys and informal conversations, helping to inform continuous improvement and ensure the programs remain responsive to community needs.
