Community Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention Grants 2025–2026

The recent grant round attracted strong interest, with applications far exceeding our expectations. We’re pleased to share that 24 locally driven activities and initiatives have been supported. Each is designed to reflect community priorities around mental wellbeing and suicide prevention. These activities span the entire Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network footprint.

Through these initiatives, we aim to achieve outcomes such as:

  • Increase mental wellbeing within the community, contributing to a reduction in suicide and suicidal distress.

  • Foster greater social connectedness and community resilience, strengthening protective factors.

  • Improve awareness of available services and supports, enabling people to seek help earlier and with confidence.

  • Reduce stigma surrounding mental health and suicide, encouraging open dialogue and access to support.

  • Strengthen community knowledge and mental health literacy through education, training, and resources.

All projects are scheduled for completion by 30 June 2026. We’ll share more details about these initiatives soon on our website.
