Suicide Prevention in Pharmacy Program

MPHN would like LHAC support to spread the word about the Suicide Prevention in Pharmacy Program Expression of Interest.

MPHN is inviting community pharmacies with an interest in suicide prevention to take part in the Suicide Prevention in Pharmacy Program.

Pharmacies are trusted, accessible points of contact for people in the community experiencing suicidal distress. This program will strengthen the role of community pharmacy as part of a coordinated, whole-of-community approach to suicide prevention.

By participating in the Suicide Prevention in Pharmacy Program, pharmacies will:

  • strengthen the capacity and confidence of their workforce to identify and respond to signs of suicidal distress

  • improve the ability to safely connect individuals with local health and community supports

  • contribute to a more coordinated, whole-of-community approach to suicide prevention.

How to apply:
All information, including the EOI Guidance Document and the application form are available on the MPHN Tenders page: https://mphn.org.au/tenders

Please visit this page to read the Guidance Document and submit your Expression of Interest.

The EOI closes at 5.00pm, 11 February 2026.
