Casual Marketing Assistant
Are you a creative, digitally savvy university student or recent graduate who lives and breathes social media?
We’re looking for a Casual Marketing Assistant to support our Brand & Marketing team with day‑to‑day marketing execution across digital, design and campaigns.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build real‑world experience, work on meaningful community health campaigns, and develop your skills alongside an experienced marketing professional.
About the role
Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Lead, you’ll support the delivery of marketing activity across social media, website content, campaigns, events and design. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is confident using digital tools and keen to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
Supporting website updates and content management (Squarespace experience ideal)
Assisting with graphic design using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
Supporting campaigns, events and promotions
Capturing and editing basic mobile photography and video
Helping maintain digital assets, templates and content libraries
Assisting with CRM and email marketing setup as required
About you
You’re enthusiastic, creative and digitally confident, with a strong interest in marketing and communications.
You will ideally be:
Someone with a strong eye for design and attention to detail
Confident using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
Comfortable working in website back‑ends (ideally Squarespace)
Highly engaged with social media and emerging platforms
Digitally savvy and quick to learn new software and tools
Confident with mobile photography and videography
Equipped with a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, including consumer behaviour and creating compelling content
