Understanding LGBTIQ+ training for Health Professionals

This FREE course is for health professionals working with LGBTIQA+ individuals.

The Understanding LGBTIQA+ course has been refreshed to give health professionals access to contemporary, evidence-based learning that reflects current terminology, emerging health priorities and best-practice inclusive care.

The course provides a practical introduction to sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics, while helping learners build the confidence and skills to create safe, respectful and inclusive healthcare experiences for the LGBTIQA+ people.

It also incorporates current national resources, updated references and contemporary approaches to diversity, equity and inclusion in healthcare.
