New spirometry prompt in MedicalDirector

As you’re aware, the Murrumbidgee region experiences high rates of patients living with COPD. 

As part of the Murrumbidgee Living Well, Your Way program, MPHN has partnered with MedicalDirector to trial a new way of identifying patients who may need a spirometry test.

This Winter, the MedicalDirector software prompt will identify patients who may require a spirometry test due to recent exacerbation or hospital admission recorded in their medical record.

Support and training for general practices nurses is available from the Living Well Your Way Team.
