RACGP Standards for general practice.

General practices must be able to show that cleaning is completed, as necessary.  

This can be achieved by designating one member of the practice team with the responsibility of ensuring the practice is cleaned appropriately. When practices employ commercial cleaners, there must be a signed written contract that details the process involved. All cleaning completed, whether internally or externally, could be recorded in a cleaning log. There must be a more rigorous cleaning program during a pandemic or an infectious disease outbreak.
