Free mental health support available through Medicare Mental Health

People across the Murrumbidgee region can now access free mental health, social and emotional wellbeing support by calling Medicare Mental Health on 1800 595 212.

Medicare Mental Health is available to anyone in Australia who is seeking mental health support, looking for advice, or supporting someone they care about.

When you call, you will speak with experienced staff who can take the time to understand your needs, goals and circumstances. They can then help connect you with the right support, whether that is through a Medicare Mental Health service or another free or low-cost mental health provider.

Support is available for a range of mental health and wellbeing concerns, including when you are not sure where to start or what type of help may be right for you.

Calls are free and no referral is needed.

Medicare Mental Health can be contacted on 1800 595 212 between 8:30am and 5pm weekdays, except public holidays.
