1800 Medicare

On 1 January, the my health app was renamed 1800MEDICARE. This change is the first step in improving access to health services for all Australians.

The app remains a trusted way for consumers to access their key health information, seek advice and connect with care, all from the palm of their hand. Moving forward, it will become even more helpful with proposed new features like:

• Reminders for preventative screenings.

• Notifications for test and scan reports.

• Easier privacy management that syncs directly with My Health Record.
