Presented by James Alcorn MPHN is delivering a PENCAT workshop for GPs, Practice Nurses and Staff. This workshop supports practices to make the most out of their data, data cleaning and quality improvement.

Topics:     

  •  Learn how to use clinical coding to improve the quality of data in clinical software.

  • Correctly enter (code) clinical data such as allergies, blood pressure, height, weight, and past medical history.

  • Use the PEN Clinical Audit Tool to identify patients either at risk of developing chronic disease or with established chronic disease in order to target appropriate treatment.

  • Explain how the Top Bar can identify gaps in data quality
