Presented by Melissa Doran and Jenny Atkinson, this session will introduce the ASSIST screening tool, identify how the tool has been internationally validated across a wide-range of population, its purpose and benefits. A demonstration of how the tool can be used in a variety of settings – GP surgery and Emergency Department will be provided, including possible drug related harm identification and prevention strategies.
